Disaster Supply Kit
A Disaster Supply Kit is designed to help you when an emergency or disaster occurs. The materials in this kit are a good start, but your kit should be customized to your own personal needs. Keep the contents of the kit in a waterproof case or bag in a convenient place known to all family members. Keep a smaller version of the kit in the trunk of your car.
Contents:- Water: store one gallon of water per person per day. Keep at least a 3-day supply.
- Food: store a 3-day supply of non-perishable food. Examples include ready-to-eat canned meat, fruits and vegetables; canned juices; high energy foods; vitamins; food for infants; and comfort or stress foods.
- NOAA weather radio with extra batteries.
- First Aid Kit containing:
- (20) Adhesive bandages of various sizes
- (1) 5"x9" sterile dressing
- (1) Conforming roller gauze bandage
- (2) Triangular bandages
- (2) 3"x3" sterile gauze pads
- (2) 4"x4" sterile gauze pads
- (1) Roll cohesive bandage
- (2) Germicidal hand wipes or waterless alcohol-based hand sanitizer
