What is Wind Chill?
Have you ever noticed that you feel colder when it's windy outside? "Wind chill" is the temperature your body feels depending on the wind speed and actual temperature. With the Wind Chill Factor chart, you can see how cold it feels outside. Find the actual temperature across the top of the chart, then the wind speed along the left. See where the two meet in the middle, and that's how cold it feels. For example, if the temperature is 10 degrees outside, but the wind is blowing at 20 miles per hour, you'll feel as cold as you would if it were 9 degrees below zero!
