How to Dress for the Game

If you're a die-hard fan, you won't want to leave the stands during the game — so make sure you're ready for the day's weather. Be sure to check your premium weather for the forecast.

Here are a few tips as you get ready for game day:

  • Dress appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable, layered clothing so that you can add an item if you are too cool or remove something if you're too warm.
  • If it's sunny, bring your sunglasses and a baseball cap or a hat with a brim. Pack your sunscreen even if it's overcast.
  • Wear something with deep pockets — or a fanny pack (function over fashion!) — to keep your money in.
  • Take a small backpack if the weather is looking iffy. Pack it with gloves, a rain poncho, an umbrella or a large trash bag to put over your head if it rains. If you're feeling generous, bring extra trash bags for your friends to use.
  • Wear comfortable shoes for walking to your seat and standing in lines.
  • Take binoculars for a close-up view of the action.
  • Remember, some stadiums have strict rules about what can be brought in. Check before bringing glass bottles, alcoholic beverages or coolers.
