- The 2006 MLB postseason had more rainouts (three) than any single postseason since 1975.
- In 1975, the legendary Game Six (the Carlton Fisk game) was delayed for three straight days.
- The 1962 World Series between the Yankees and Giants featured four rainouts.
- The 1911 Series, between the A's and Giants, had six straight days of rain. It caused seven days to pass between Games 3 and 4.
